Clinical Evaluation Coordinator- Afghan Program (Georgia)
The Center for Victims of Torture is hiring a Clinical Evaluation Coordinator for CVT’s new Afghan Program in Georgia in partnership with the International Rescue Committee Atlanta. The responsibilities of this position include scheduling measure administration appointments, administering measures with CVT clients, data entry, and sharing data back to clinicians. The Evaluation Coordinator will regularly collaborate with CVT staff and the research and evaluation colleagues.
Position Details:
- Location: Georgia
- Reports to: Director of Evaluation and Research
- Remote status: 25% remote, 75% In-person
- Full/part-time status: Part-time; 0.5 FTE
- Work schedule: Monday-Friday during business hours with some evening/weekend hours pending client needs
- Hiring range: $42,595-$53,244
- Position is open to candidates who reside in and are eligible to work in the US

We are an international nonprofit dedicated to healing survivors of torture. We offer rehabilitation services to those who have been tortured, train partners around the world who can prevent and treat torture, and advocate for human rights and an end to torture. We are headquartered in Minnesota, and we have US offices in Georgia and DC, as well as offices in Africa and the Middle East.
Responsibilities:
Program Evaluation:
- Coordinate scheduling for clinical measures with the client services coordinator;
- Administer psychological, social, and physical functioning measures;
- Conduct client satisfaction surveys;
- Enter clinical data into data storage software; and
- Manage protected health information according to CVT protocols and external legal and ethical standards.
Team coordination and support:
- Foster collaborative working relationships between service providers and the evaluation team;
- Facilitate the internal dissemination of and co-learning from data (i.e., share back findings to clinicians); and
- Respond to ongoing assessment and evaluation queries from CVT-Atlanta service providers.
Other Duties:
- Participate in other department and organization-wide activities, meetings and trainings. Complete administrative responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required education, experience, certificates, licenses or registrations
- Bachelor’s degree, including coursework in the social sciences with an emphasis on research methods, statistics, and/or program evaluation
- 2 years of experience working in an administrative role supporting research, evaluation or program evaluation
- Demonstrated experience with data tracking and management
- Demonstrated experience administering measures or evaluation tools
- Verbal and written Fluency in English and Dari, Farsi or Pashto
Preferred education, experience, certificates, licenses or registrations
- Bachelor’s degree in Program Evaluation or related field in the social sciences with an emphasis on research methods, statistics, and/or program evaluation
- Previous professional experience working with interpreters
- Demonstrated experience with qualitative and mixed-methods program evaluation methods
- Previous experience working or volunteering with organizations that serve refugees and/or survivors of torture or other gross human rights violations
- Demonstrated experience with project coordination

Work Environment:
- Typical office environment
- Time spent on the computer is approximately 70%
- Time spent in virtual meetings is approximately 30%
Travel: Ability to travel to a variety of locations within the metro area.
