The Center for Victims of Torture (CVT) is excited to announce our search for a eLearning Developer and Coordinator that will support creation and implementation of the online learning plan for an international program that provides training for torture rehabilitation organizations worldwide. Develop and test eLearning and related multimedia assets; manage course structures and components for the program within the Learning Management System (LMS); and communicate effectively with enrollees, the program team, and the online engagement and eLearning team within the organization.

We are an international nonprofit dedicated to healing survivors of torture. We offer rehabilitation services to those who have been tortured, train partners around the world who can prevent and treat torture, and advocate for human rights and an end to torture.
Responsibilities:
Course Implementation and Administration: Manage creation and implementation of a detailed training plan. Create and customize course structures and settings within the HSH Portal (LMS). Load eLearning assets; import SCORM modules, videos and files; create pages, assignments, quizzes and discussion forums with necessary settings; and set prerequisites, module flow, scoring, deadlines, and publishing mechanisms. Manage course enrollments. Troubleshoot user issues for students and instructors as needed. Monitor course activities and implementation. Run reports to help provide project- and course-specific reporting.
eLearning Development and Testing: Work in coordination with the Instructional Designer and subject matter experts to translate content and eLearning storyboards into SCORM compliant modules for an international audience, using eLearning authoring and video editing tools. Produce and maintain multimedia assets for online courses. Provide sound editing, video editing, and image sourcing/editing support for the development of eLearning assets as needed. Participate in QA processes (quality assurance—testing, issues tracking, technical fixes) of eLearning assets with other eLearning staff and project team members.
Communications: Develop and maintain communications plans processes related to online trainings and releases for beneficiaries. Communicate effectively with international program staff and implementation partners. Create communications that are sensitive to the needs of non-native English speakers and individuals working in low-resourced areas.
Online Engagement Support: Provide technical and agenda support for live web training as needed. Manage recording, processing, transcript corrections and posting of live events. Collaborate with the Instructional Designer and other members of online engagement and project working teams regarding methods, technology, and related services.
eLearning Group Engagement: Participate in the cross-departmental eLearning and online engagement team; share practices, help create a culture of mutual support and learning. In project work, advocate for accessibility, clear learning objectives and processes, holistic philosophy of delivery, and other eLearning group initiatives as appropriate.
Other Duties: Participate in other department and organization-wide activities, meetings and trainings. Complete administrative responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned.
